WrestleMitzvah June 13th results - תוצאות רסלמצווה

Emersyn Jayne defeated Session Moth Martina in a classic to become the new IPWA International Women's champion in the first women's main event in Israel.Yuval Gildshmit got the upset victory over the amazing Cara Noir with Matt Sydal's shooting star press and will officially face Matt at our next show for the IPWA title.Heidi Katrina beat Mila Smidt in an incredible bout with "This is Awesome" chants. Heidi broke her arm on the finish and was immediatly taken to the hospital by paramedics and ambulance on hand. Heidi had a successful surgery yesterday and we'll have a seperate post on the amazing Heidi soon. Leeds' Kacie defeated Liverpool's Harley Hudson in a tremendous bout by these two incredible youngsters.Ken Kerbis pinned Leyton Buzzard in an astonishing fight between two mega talented competitors that went all over the Cinema City Arena.Big Yarin Elkariff defeated Rabbi Swissa in his farewell retirement match. The Rabbi left his wrestling shoes in the ring and walked out to a final standing ovation.

Over 300 fans packed the Cinema City Theater Arena.
Tal Bar On beat Amit Magnezi, Ori Gold, Black Phanter and Shay Blanco. White Phanter beat Gal Barkay (Tye Clodd was not cleared due illness) Rixon & Boulder beat Rozin & Palty, Gaya Glass defeated Molly Spartan, NEW Champion Darby Allin retained his title against Rabbi Swissa, Sammy Guevara was victorious over Yuval Goldshmit, Hadar Horvitz beat Ken Kerbis after Lior Libman revealed he got injured and was unable to compete. IPWA champion Matt Sydal retained his title against "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn.
IPWA Promoter Gery Roif addressed the crowd, thanked them for supporting Israeli Wrestling and said that this is just the beginning.

בדצמבר 2019, גרי רויף הפיק את אחד ממופעי ההיאבקות הגדולים והאיכותיים שאי פעם נראו בארץ. הוא זיהה את הפוטנציאל האדיר שטמון במתאבקים החדשים של -דארבי אלין וסאמי גאוורה והביא אותם לצד האלוף האהוב שלנו, מאט סיידל. בנוסף לרכש העצום של בילי גאן האגדי, חבר היכל התהילה וחבר בצוות דג'נריישן אקס. מהתחלה עד הסוף היה זה מופע איכותי ומקצועי, מכוכבי הסצנה המקומית עד לגאיה גלאס שלנו שנתנה שואו אדיר מול מולי ספארטן הסקוטית. דארבי אלין הלהיב את הקהל המקומי בסינמה סיטי כאשר הביס את הרב סוויסה (גרי רויף) בקרב קשוח ביותר, סאמי גאווארה ניצח את יובל גולדשיט בקרב של 5 כוכבים שמדברים עליו עד היום והאלוף שלנו, מאט סיידל, הצליח לשמוע על התואר מול אחד מהשמות הגדולים בענף בתקופת אטידוד - בילי גאן. גאווארה ואלין ממשיכים לככב. רק לאחרונה דארבי אלין התמודד מול סי אם פאנק בפרק של דיינמייט

PASSOVER BASH 2019 - Lethal, Starr, Sydal raise the bar for Israeli Wrestling - דייויד סטאר נגד ג'יי לית'ל בישראל

Passover Bash drew 200 fans to the Berale Music Club. Jay Lethal defeated David Starr in what is described to have been the greatest wrestling match EVER on Israel soil, and probably one of the best matches so far this year in general. After the match both acknowledged each other and shook hands in sign of respect in an incredible emotional finale. Matt Sydal defeated Rabbi Swissa and won the IPWA championship. The Mechanics managed to score an upset win over the Titan Towers, the talented Yuval Goldshmit beat Black Phanter and Idan Boulder in a thrilling bout, Max Havok defeated Hadar Horvitz and Lior Libman cheated his way against Shay Blanco in an exciting opener. IPWA Promoter Gery Roif spoke to the crowd, saying that this is only the beginning and thanked everyone for supporting Israeli Pro Wrestling.

RAGE Mega Show - The return of Von Erichs to Israel - הקרב האחרון של ואן אריק בישראל

Rage Mega Show was one of the biggest wrestling shows in Israel since WWF in 94. Kevin Von Erich returned to wrestle for one last time with his sons, Ross and Marshall to defeat former WWE I.C champ Marty Jannetty, Israeli Wrestling founder and former IPWA champion, Rabbi Swissa and Jumping Lee. WWE Legend Tatanka returned to battle Hakeem Waqur and Matt Sydal faced Bad Bones John Klinger. David Starr and Jurn Simmons tore the house down. Phanters and Candy Club went head to head, while Ken Kerbis vs. Max Havoc, Iceman vs. Rixon and Big D vs Tal Bar On proved that Israeli local talent has great potential.

WWE Legend helping build the blocks - אגדת היאבקות טטנקה בישראל

August 16th, WWE Legend Tatanka came to Israel to headline what was the most important wrestling show in Israel until that point - the "Super Show". The legend came to Israel to help build the future of Israeli Wrestling and he did not disappoint. A jam packed crowd filled the local arena in Netanya to witness, WWE Legend Tatanka - an idol and hero to many Israelis watching WWF when they were kids, defeat Rabbi Swissa in a grueling sweaty summer bout to become the new IPWA Heavyweight champion. After the match, Tatanka addressed the crowd and in a patriotic speech that moved everyone to tears. IPWA will forever be grateful to Tatanka for coming and helping us try to establish our local scene and take us to the next level. This show was filed with great wrestling action from the likes of  Black Phanter, Sharon Palty, Yossi the Bull, Omry Balely and some of the best local talent of all times.  After the dust cleared and all settled down, Tatanka went to enjoy the Dead Sea and the holy places of Jerusalem.

Israeli talent at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL - גרי רויף מביא משלחת של מתאבקים ישראלים לפרפורמנס סנטר באורלנדו, פלורידה

After many years of negotiations with WWE, IPWA Promoter, Gery Roif, was able to bring two Israeli talents to tryout for WWE. In february, 2018, they participated in the grueling WWE Tryouts at the WWE Performance Center in Florida. We are working hard to establish more connections and develop more local talent to hopefully one day to be recruited by WWE or other big wrestling promotions in the world.

Rabbi Swissa (Gery Roif) wrestles in Germany for WXW - גרי רויף (הרב סוויסה) מופיע על הבמה הגדולה בגרמניה

"Blessing means "God's favor and protection" in the dictionary. It perfectly describes my journey two weeks ago to Germany. I was blessed to get the opportunity to wrestle for WXW, the #1 wrestling promotion in Germany and probably in all of Europe. On november 24th in Aurich, Germany at the Sparkassen Arena infront of 550 fans, I had the incredible pleasure of working with Alexander James, whom I recommend to every promoter for booking - an amazing young talent, who is in my opinion one of the very best the Independents have to offer these days, with incredible knowledge of the history of the game and the ability to make even a jobronie like me look decent (which only a true talent can do). I brought my best to that match, giving AJ everything I had, however that was not enough. Alexander James was the better man. I lost the battle, yet I won the war, as wrestling in Germany as Rabbi Swissa, coming out with Kippah and Zizith to the ring while my theme song blasted the Sparkassen Arena in hebrew, was my biggest victory of all."  - Gery Roif on his match in Germany.
